Adidas drops digital agency Riot |
|
Riot, the digital arm of creative agency 180 Amsterdam, has been cropped by Adidas, its founding client.
180 Amsterdam has worked with Adidas for over ten years, starting with the Take What You Want campaign in 1999, but has parted ways with the sports brand.
A source close to the agency, said, “The work had become increasingly compromised and the creative integrity of the agency’s work had suffered, which provoked the break.”
This year, the agency was short listed for a Cannes Lions for its Impossible Is Nothing campaign for Adidas Football and in 2008 launched branded video initiative Adidas.tv (nma.co.uk 27 November 2008).
Last month, the brand also worked with 180 Amsterdam/RIOT to create a campaign for the World Cup in which football stars featured in an interactive online graphic novel (nma.co.uk 2 July 2010). |
