The minds behind Sour's "Hibi no Niero," BBH creatives Masashi Kawamura and Hal Kirkland have created a way for hip hop artists Asher Roth the carry his own website in his pocket.
Kawamura and Kirkland, working with Japanese AR engineers Saqoosha, created a card imprinted with an illustration of Roth's website. Whenever Asher or his posse shoots the card, that image becomes the home page of the website. Roth can update his site at any time, through a special app for his iPhone. The app dates and labels each image so fans know where Roth has been and when.
Saqoosha used FLARToolKit, which launches the site interface from the surface of the card. Visitors to the site can view the archive of photos, each of which showcases the site interface in a different way.
