Innocent to open East London pop-up café |
|
Innocent, the ethical drinks brand famed for its smoothies, is to open a pop-up café in Shoreditch, East London.
The café’s point of different to rivals will be its claimed health credentials.
Each dish will be made up of the government's recommended five-a-day intake of fruit and vegetables.
The Five-a-Day Café will open for one week starting on 1 October. The menu will include options such as black bean humus on sourdough toast with avocado and Beetroot, and horseradish pierogi with soured cream.
Dishes will be priced at £5 and the menu has been put together by TV chef Gizzi Erskine. There will also be entertainment for visitors to the café.
Innocent is aiming to attract 5,000 customers to the venue, which is a grade two listed building called The Tramshed.
