            <title>Tesco rolls out grocery shopping app</title>

            <description><![CDATA[Supermarket giant Tesco is launching a free app for the iPhone that will enable users to log in to their online grocery account and shop on the go.<p>

The grocery app is an addition to existing Tesco apps, including Clubcard and the Winefinder, which together have amassed more than one million downloads.  <p>

The app enables customers to shop on the go for groceries via their iPhones. Once downloaded, those customers who have registered with Tesco.com will be able to access their home store’s product range and their favourite items, which are recognised by previous online purchases.<p>

            <title>Facebook becomes most used website</title>

            <description><![CDATA[People spend more time on Facebook than anywhere else online, including all of Google’s combined properties, according to ComScore.<p>

A total of 41.1m minutes were spent on Facebook in August, equating to 9.9% of total time online. This compared to 39.8m minutes (9.6%) on Google sites, including YouTube and Google.com.<p>

Yahoo sites received a total of 37.7m minutes of dwell time (9.1%), down from 12% for the same period in 2009.<p>

            <title>Amazon to sell subscription service for online movies?</title>

            <description><![CDATA[Amazon is reportedly planning to launch an online TV and movie rental service, and is cureently in talks with major TV and film studios.<p>

According to report in the Wall Street Journal, Amazon has approached media companies including Time Warner. with plans to start an online video subscription service to rival Netflix in the US. The paper quoted three people ‘with knowledge of the talks’. Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bezos is broadening the retailer’s digital entertainment services to combat rivals such as Netflix, Hulu LLC and Apple.
